Out of the thousands of languages spoken around the world, only one is universal- color. Color is a form of communication that speaks louder than words and unites people around the world. The color red defined by people in China, is the same red used in America.

articulating it as a universal language that enables designers, brands and manufactures to make color-critical decisions through every stage of
the workflow.

Our Pantone Matching System
(PMS) has been developed to support all color conscious industries; textiles, apparel, beauty, interiors, architectural and industrial design, encompassing over 10,000 color standards across multiple materials including printing, textiles, plastics, pigments, and coatings.

Now that we have perfected the vernacular of color and all it’s scientific components, we are stepping back to celebrate and unite the people using our colors; the designers, the artists, the production experts. We believe that color can bring us together as a creative community, despite our vast cultural, ethnic, political, economic, and ideological differences. We are all human, living lives in vivid color, rich with creative ideas and innovative potential.
What would it look like to become a global community, diverse but united - learning from each other’s unique perspectives and stories, collaborating to create a better tomorrow that can lead to human flourishing?
Pantone’s rebrand is one step towards this goal. As a company we are committed to our role as leader of this global community. We want to invite you to be a part, and contribute your own creative voice and perspectives. We need you- the world needs you.
